The object.

At the haircutter’s I’m just a head.

At the shoe store I’m just a pair of feet.

At school I’m just a test to grade.

At work I’m a paycheck that has to be signed.

To others, I’m a male, a chauvinist.

To others, I’m a sex object.

Only I know my subjective self, and that’s a sad fact.
